Models 2010 Volvo S80 and, in particular, DRIVE S80 come equipped with the same power train of small C30, S40 and V50 Drive, a 1.6-liter diesel mated to a manual transmission but with a management software and bespoke different gear ratios in third, fourth and fifth gear. While all 1.6D engine will not offer spectacular performances, if issued securities contained in the fuel consumption and emissions, as you can travel 100 km with only 4.9 liter of fuel emitting just 129g/km.
Also in 2010 Volvo S80 you can choose an engine upgrade bi-turbo 2.4-liter five-cylinder D5 that delivers 205 HP and 420 Nm of torque. Fuel consumption is located in the 6.2 liters per 100 km with a CO2 emission of 164g/km. The updated 2.4-liter diesel engine is also offered with 175 hp and 420nm of torque. In this case, the consumer is located at 5.8 liters per 100 km and CO2 emissions 154g/km. Outwardly, the changes in the S80 is reduced to a new grid that boasts a new larger metal badge and chrome accents on the air intake in the basement of the doors and under the rear lights. Inside there are new trims, tools now has aluminum quadrant and a new steering wheel.
