Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Limited Edition Carbon (2011)

When the 2006 Corvette Z06 was introduced, it represented the most closely related to the Corvette racing cars ever. The Corvette ZR1 2009 has narrowed the gap between races and even more production. In 2010, the Corvette continues its tradition of technology transfer from surface to the street with the 2011 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Carbon Limited.

"Designed to utilize the technology developed for racing, Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Carbon Limited Edition is a homage to the first 50 years the race 24 hours of Le Mans Corvette," said Jim Campbell, Chevrolet general manager. "With a limited production of 500 cars, this car is a must-have for the true Corvette collector and enthusiast driving."

Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Carbon Limited Edition is another example of the wide range of Corvette. Five years ago, customers had the option of a coupe or convertible Corvette. With the addition of the Z06, Grand Sport coupe and convertible and the ZR1, Corvette enthusiasts now have more choices than ever before.

"For track use, Carbon Z06 Chevrolet Corvette is the most balanced yet. It combines easily and naturally aspirated Z06 traction and braking of the ZR1, "said Tadger Juechter, Corvette chief engineer." For technical tracks Laguna Seca, Z06 Carbon could shave three seconds until the clock Z06 " .

This limited edition Z06 will feature Brembo carbon-ceramic brake calipers specific dark gray metallic. These powerful brakes were first introduced on the ZR1. Black 20-spoke 19-inch at the rear of the car round front/20-inch Michelin PS2 tires. Other mechanical features include Magnetic Selective Ride Control for the first time in the Z06 and better cooling. The car is also equipped with a special carbon hood model.

Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Carbon Limited Edition will be available in two colors: bright orange and the brand new Super Sonic Blue. Headlights and mirrors black ZR1 spoiler body style color, body-color door handles, carbon fiber raised hood and rockers in black and carbon fiber design Z06 dynamic power splitter and reduce lift weight and aerodynamics. For track events, customers can also install the figure of Euro Racing style that comes with each car.

Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Carbon Limited Edition, Ebony leather interior and suede seat complete the blue or orange stitching on the outer surface of the chosen color. Other features include a unique logo, steering wheel, sill plate with the logo and the headrest. Mocha used to the steering wheel, gearbox, seat inserts, door armrests and improving the luxury of this limited edition Z06.

A Z07 performance option package that includes mechanical improvements introduced on the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Limited Edition Carbon can be added to a conventional 2011 Z06. This package also includes 20-spoke competition gray wheels and all the chassis and cooling improvements.

CFZ Z06 package includes a carbon fiber carbon fiber black rockers, splitter and roof panel, the entire width of the spoiler body color. It can also be purchased with or without the Z07 package of regular Z06 models.

The 2011 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Carbon Limited Edition Z07 and Z06 and new option packages Colon Free Zone will be available in late summer 2010.
